The international Ski Resort of Chapelco is only 35 miles from The Río Dorado Lodge. This beautiful mountain has the best equipment in the region with a lift capacity for 12,000 skiers on lift chairs and cable cars. Its numerous trails for beginners to experts give the 7500 foot high mountain a world wide reputation. The Chapelco ski school provides instruction in Nordic, Alpine and Snowboard skiing.
